How to make

  • Put The UV Food’s Special Rava Idli Premix/Instant mix into a bowl.
  • In this premix, add 4/5 big spoonfuls of sour or fresh curd.
  • You can add 1-2 chopped green chillies and half-grated ginger for better taste.
  • Add 4/5 big spoons of water and salt to taste to make neither thin nor thick batter.
  • Add baking soda (provided in the instant mix packet) to the batter before steaming and mix well.
  • Keep the batter aside for 20-30 minutes.
  • After 30 minutes, when the batter looks thick, add few tablespoons of water to get medium consistency.
  • Grease the idli mould, pour the batter, and stream it for 10 to 12 minutes.
  • Serve your super soft and tasty rava idli with chutney and sambar.
